How Sin Distorts Work

Cultivate, a spiritual formation journal that is designed to intellectually challenge and foster great discussions in the Christian community, is inviting writers to enter its inaugural writing competition in conjunction with Art House.

Prize

The judges will award the first-place writer with a cash prize of $500 and publication in Cultivate No. 3, “Work: A Four-Letter Word.”

Rules

The judges seek well-written stories (2500-7000 words) with memorable characters that can creatively and reflectively capture the essence of how sin distorts work.

Writers are strongly encouraged to reflect on Part Two of Tim Keller’s Every Good Endeavor, Chapter 2 of Tom Nelson’s Work Matters, Cornelius Plantinga’s Not the Way It’s Supposed to Be, and Genesis 3:16-19.
